Terms of Service

You must be legally allowed to use a dating and social app in your country or region. You must provide accurate basic information when creating your account, and you must not impersonate another person.

You are responsible for the activity on your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and do not share access to your account. If you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission, contact support immediately.

NearYou is meant to feel warm and safe. The following behaviour is not allowed:

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive behaviour.
• Sexual exploitation or unsafe sexual behaviour.
• Scams, fraud, phishing, or financial deception of any kind.
• Spam, bots, fake engagement, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
• Impersonation of real people, brands, or NearYou staff.
• Illegal content or illegal activity of any kind.
• Posting someone else's private information without consent.
• Uploading harmful, violent, or non-consensual content.
• Circumventing Credits, payments, ads, moderation, or any safety system.

You are responsible for your own interactions with other users, both inside NearYou and offline. We do not verify every user's identity or background unless we explicitly say so for a specific feature. Please be cautious when meeting anyone offline.

Meet in public places. Tell a trusted friend where you are going and who you are meeting. Do not send money to strangers, even if their story sounds urgent or emotional.

You are responsible for the content you post on NearYou, including your profile, avatar, messages, media, confessions, and signals. You should only upload content that you have the right to use.

NearYou may remove or hide content that violates our community rules or our safety standards.

Confessions and Hidden Signals may appear anonymously or partially hidden to other users. These features must not be used for harassment, threats, scams, or abuse. NearYou keeps internal safety and moderation records and may act on reports about anonymous content.

Credits are an in-app digital balance used to access certain features such as reveals, media unlocks, chat actions, boosts, or other paid actions. Credits have no cash value unless required by law, and they are not a bank account, a stored-value account, or a currency.

Pricing, pack contents, and Credit costs for individual actions may change over time. Purchases may be handled through service providers that NearYou.Dating works with, depending on availability in your region.

You may earn a limited amount of free Credits through rewarded ads. Daily limits and cooldowns apply. Rewards may fail if the ad provider's validation fails. NearYou may change, pause, or remove rewarded ads at any time.

You must not abuse rewarded ads, including by using automation, scripts, emulators, or by fabricating ad-completion events.

Payment confirmation may take time depending on the payment method. Manual transfers may require human review. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis unless required by applicable law.

For payment issues, please contact support@nearyou.dating with the order ID. Suspicious or fraudulent payments may be rejected or investigated before Credits are granted.

You can report or block other users from inside the app. NearYou reviews reports and may take action to protect users and platform safety.

Actions may include warnings, hiding content, removing content, restricting features, or suspending accounts.

NearYou may suspend, restrict, or remove accounts that violate these Terms, create safety risk, abuse our systems, or harm other users. If your account is suspended you may lose access to certain content or features.

Features may change, be added, or be removed over time. The service may experience bugs, downtime, or maintenance windows. NearYou does not guarantee uninterrupted service.

NearYou does not guarantee matches, relationships, the behaviour or identity of other users, or your safety in offline interactions. You interact with other users at your own responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NearYou is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, for the conduct of other users, or for events outside our reasonable control.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of NearYou after an update means you accept the updated Terms where legally permitted.
